A business without a sign is a sign of no business. Without your brand proudly displayed on the front of your business, it’s extremely difficult to get noticed. Having your brand displayed on your storefront will undoubtedly increase activity. As an additional bonus it will also and give you an advantage over the competition.

Your sign creates your opportunity to make a lasting first impression. Not only to identify your location but also to project the businesses image, what you do and status of your business. As a whole, if your storefront sign looks worn out or faded it give the impression of a poorly managed business.

When you partner with the right sign company, they will guide you through the many options available.

Several options to consider:

  • Window signs
  • Dimensional signs
  • Awnings
  • Illuminated channel letter signs
  • Illuminated sign cabinets

Many times a combination of these options work well.

Customer Spotlight: Destination Salon and Spa

Storefront for Destination Salon and Spa. Red dot covering light fixture we needed to avoid.

We recently had the opportunity to work with a Salon that moved into a new location. The newly constructed facility offered very nice architectural features as well as some design challenges. After consulting with the customer we set out to create a bold and budget friendly solution!

When we began this process the customer knew they did not want a lit sign, but liked the look of lettering. After consulting with the customer logo our design team selected a font that would both provide easy legibility and correspond with their branding. We settled on a script style font for the dimensional letter set. To add more dimension to the sign, we selected 1-1/2″ standoffs to space the letters off of the recessed face of the building. Due to the white façade we all ultimately settled on black letters to maximize the contrast.

Customer supplied logo.

Additionally, an emergency light was located centrally on the band for the desired sign. Our design team worked diligently to ensure that the light would fall comfortably within the spacing of the letters and would not disrupt the flow of the text.

Installation process for the dimensional letter set.

The façade, while clean and modern, provided some challenges when it came to designing and installing this dimensional letter set. The fascia of the building had 3 steps in it creating a need for various sized standoffs to ensure the design would lay flat and secure. Some letters spanned the full height of the recesses, some letters fell within the recesses.

The install team at Paramount Signs carefully designed and produced the letters to ensure none of the building elements would hinder the appearance of the sign. By identifying the placement of drill templates and carefully lowering it level by level, we successfully transitioned to differing levels of the building face during install.

Finished look of custom dimensional letters.

After careful placement of the drill template and a plan to transition hole locations to lower levels the first step went flawlessly. The final product looked incredible and provided the exact image the customer was hoping for.
